Dear Muslim Supporter:
Assalamu Alaikum,
Al-hamdulilah! MAS Freedom wishes to commend the American Muslim community
for its steadfast commitment to the people of Gaza during the recent massive Israeli
attack, and the resulting death and destruction. You responded with your hands,
your voices, and your hearts.
In upholding the dignity of the humanity of the people of Gaza, you marched with us
in the tens of thousands, held local rallies, engaged the media, gave generously to
relief organizations, and responded in many ways to MAS Freedom's "Let Gaza
Live" campaign.
However, the crisis in Gaza is far from over and your help is still urgently needed –
perhaps now more than ever.
As American Muslims, we can no longer wait for major calamity to fall on our
brothers and sisters in Gaza and throughout Palestine, and then respond.
We must respond to the urgent call for justice on behalf of the people of Palestine in
a sustained, organized and proactive way. MAS Freedom has built a broad-based
coalition of Americans ready to act NOW.
This is why today we ask you to endorse our ongoing "Let Gaza Live" projects:

foreign policies with the goals of ending the embargo on Gaza,
and securing uninterrupted delivery and distribution of
humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people. The U.S.
Government must be urged to apply pressure on Israel if we
are to achieve the goal of seeing an end to the blockade on
Gaza. In further promotion of the proactive efforts of MAS
Freedom's End the Embargo on Gaza campaign, we have
secured commitments from major churches and other religious
and social justice communities, who have agreed to lobby and
participate in the distribution of over 500,000 postcards to our
Congress and White House, calling for an End to the Embargo
on Gaza.
Justice delayed is justice denied. The time is now. Please

| The Israeli war on Gaza civilians constituted numerous violations of international law, as well as war crimes in violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention. Numerous weapons and munitions used by Israel were provided by U.S. taxpayers. MAS Freedom has assembled an excellent legal team consisting of Attorney Peter Erlinder and members of the National Lawyers Guild, to begin the process of making legal claims for war crime compensation for U.S. citizens, and their families, who were injured or killed in these attacks. |
